Why is whitelist not working with http proxy authentication / contentfilter / antivirus?

1. check if the whitelist lines are correct (see related articles)
2. enable proxy / dansguardian / havp logging to see if a related / needed domain is not whitelisted

to do so you can use:
* live logs
* log summary
* the log files: /var/log/squid/access.log, /var/log/dansguardian/access.log

look if sites are denied directly after accessing the whitelisted domain and add them to the whiteli

example:

google.com is blacklisted but you want to user googlemaps

* add maps.google.com to whitelist
* add mt0.google.com, mt1.google.com, mt2.google.com, mt3.google.com, mt4.google.com, mt5.google.com
  (mt*.google.com is the domain on which the pics for the maps are hosted)
